Daejeon University Hyehwa Medical Center has its roots in Hyehwadang Clinic, which has been open for 80 years. In 1981, with the establishment of Daejeon University College of Korean Medicine, we opened Daejeon University Seoul Korean Medicine Hospital in Munjeong-dong Legal Center, Songpa-gu, in 2019. This hospital is the fourth medical center to open in affiliation with Daejeon University - following Daejeon Korean Medicine Hospital, Cheongju Korean Medicine Hospital, and Cheonan Korean Medicine Hospital.

Representative treatment programs of Daejeon University Seoul Korean Medicine Hospital include Wheel Balance cancer Therapy (WBT) program at the East-West Cancer Center, antioxidant and anti-aging programs at the Integrative Immunotherapy Center, acupotomy and chuna program at the Spine, Neurology & Rehabilitation Center, and treatment programs for women of different stages in life offered at the Women’s Wellness Center, precision medicine-based genetic testing and immune cell therapy programs, and global healthcare programs.
